B.6 Retention of Data, Withdrawal of Consent & Application Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. KYC and loan-related records may be retained as required under RBI guidelines.
Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent by contacting us at support@bharatloan.co. Withdrawal may affect our ability to process your application or provide services.
Application Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data. We will process such requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements. To request deletion, email us with your registered mobile number.
Annexure I — App Permissions and Data Collection
Our mobile application may request the following permissions. You can manage these permissions through your device settings. Denying certain permissions may limit app functionality.
I.1 SMS Permissions
We may access SMS messages solely to auto-read OTP verification codes sent to your registered mobile number during login and application. We do not read, store, or share personal SMS content beyond OTP verification.
I.2 Installed Apps Permissions
We may collect metadata about installed applications on your device (app name and package name) for credit risk assessment and fraud detection. We do not access the content or data within other applications.
I.3 Important Safeguards
- All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
- Sensitive documents are stored securely with access controls.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing.
- Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

I.4 Location Permissions

I.7 Camera Permissions
Camera access is required to capture selfies and photographs of KYC documents (PAN card, Aadhaar card) during the loan application process. Images are uploaded securely and used only for identity verification.
I.8 Voice Record and Microphone Data
Microphone access may be requested for customer support calls or video KYC verification if applicable. Audio is not recorded or stored without your explicit consent during such interactions.
